George ROPER

George was born in 1843. George's father was Samuel ROPER and his mother was Lydia Seeley LAMBERT. His paternal grandparents were Samuel ROPER and Maria LINSTEAD; his maternal grandparents were Robert Miller LAMBERT and Susanna SEELEY. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, Samuel, Charles, Alfred, Ellen, Mary, Rachel, Susan, Lydia and Julia. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 57 in 1900 in Colchester.
