Alfred ROPER

Alfred was born in 1857 in Great Finborough. Alfred's father was Samuel ROPER and his mother was Lydia Seeley LAMBERT. His paternal grandparents were Samuel ROPER and Maria LINSTEAD; his maternal grandparents were Robert Miller LAMBERT and Susanna SEELEY. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Robert, George, John, Samuel, Charles, Ellen, Mary, Rachel, Susan, Lydia and Julia. He was the youngest of the twelve children.
