John APPLETON

John was born in 1834 in Beech Hill.  John's father was Joseph APPLETON and his mother was Charlotte WELCH.  His paternal grandparents were William APPLETON and Lucy KEEP; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Miriam WELCH. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Henry, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Charlotte and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
