George Hampson & Hannah Mather

George and Hannah were married in a civil ceremony in 1856 in Bolton.¹

  George was born in 1833 in Pilkington.² He died at the age of 40 on July 25th, 1873 in Bolton. His burial was in July 1893 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³

  Hannah was born in 1829 in Bolton.⁴

      Hannah may have been the bastard child refered to in the 1826 order (Nov 1826) on James Mather, so born in Chorley, not Bolton. However, the age is also incorrect
  She died at the age of 84 on July 16th, 1913 in Little Bolton. Her burial was in July 1913 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³
