Robert's father was Robert Woodworth (Woodward) and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Cole.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Woodworth and Mary Knowles. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Mary and Nancy.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 2 in May 1759 at Park Gate.  He was buried on May 9th, 1759 in Neston.¹
