Nancy was born in March 1759 at Park Gate and her baptism took place on March 11th, 1759 in Neston.1  Nancy's father was Robert Woodworth (Woodward) and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Cole.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Woodworth and Mary Knowles. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Robert and Mary.  She was the youngest of the four children.
