Eva's father was Lawson Wood and her mother was Ellen Taylor.  Her paternal grandparents were <unknown> and Sarah Wood; her maternal grandparents were William Taylor and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and a sister, named Fred, Harold, Ronald, Herbert and Doris.  She was the second youngest of the six known children.
