Elizabeth's father was William Williams and her mother was Elizabeth Connah. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, John, Ann and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the six children.

General Notes
- In 1841, Elizabeth (14) was with her father at Broad Lane, Hawarden (which is where her father lived when he married in 1819).
  
  In 1851, Elizabeth, 27 and servant was with her sister Ann in Llanbeblig, Caernarvonshire.
  
  Elizabeth appears to have married a much older Robert Roberts at Caernarvonshire. Towever, the 1855 marriage shows Robert was 32 when he married Elizabeth (28)
  
  In 1861, Robert and Elizabeth (80 & wife 33) were still at Llanbeblig.
