John's father was William Williams and his mother was Elizabeth Connah. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Ann, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died as an infant at 6 months old in December 1825 in Hawarden.  He was buried on December 24th, 1825 in Hawarden.¹
