Elizabeth was born in December 1869 in Birkenhead.1  Elizabeth's father was Richard Whitehead and her mother was Ann Bamford. She had five brothers named Robert, Richard, Albert, Harold and Boland.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Elliott.  She died at the age of 4 in December 1873 in Birkenhead.2
