Sarah Tyack

Sarah was born in June 1846 in Seacombe and her baptism took place on September 27th, 1846 in Liscard.¹²

Sarah's father was James Tyack and her mother was Mary Roberts. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the youngest of the six children. She died whilst giving birth at the age of 39 in September 1885 in Birkenhead.¹

  Sarah believes Sarah Margaret Tyack was sister to Elizabeth Tyack, an ancestor (her 3x great grandmother).
  
  By the 1881 census Mary (mother) and Sarah had moved down the road to 144 Cathcart Street. In this census Mary is registered as a widow. They are however joined by another James Tyack (11 months old) who is registered as son of the head of the household. By this time Mary was 76 suggesting that perhaps James was the illegitimate son of Sarah or possibly one of Mary’s other children.
