Joseph was born on July 19th, 1794 in Stone and his baptism took place there on August 4th, 1794.1  Joseph's father was Josiah (Joseph) Timmis and his mother was Elizabeth Hodgkinson.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Timmis and Mary Hall. He had a sister named Elizabeth.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at 8 months old in March 1795 in Stone.  He was buried on March 20th, 1795 in Stone.2
