Elizabeth Taylor (Mather)

Elizabeth was born in 1848 in Ashton-in-Makerfield.¹ Elizabeth's father was <unknown> and her mother was Margaret Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were <unknown> and Mary Taylor. She had a brother named John. She was the older of the two children.

- Elizabeth Mather was described as a daughter (3) of Mary in 1851, born Ashton-in-Makerfield.
  
  In 1861, she is granddaughter Elizabeth Taylor (13) with sibling John (5), probably the illegitimate children of Margaret Taylor (39) living with their grandmother Mary Mather.
