Sarah's father was Daniel Stones and her mother was Ann Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were John Mather and <unknown>. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Simon, James, William, Alice and Ann.  She was the second oldest of the six known children.  She died at the age of 4 in April 1777.  She was buried on April 13th, 1777 at St. Mary (Deane).²
