William Frith Stocks

William was born in 1816 in Almondbury and his christening took place there on November 24th, 1816.¹

William's father was Noah Stocks and his mother was Mary Frith.  His paternal grandparents were John Stocks and Sarah Gledhill . He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Samuel, Ann, Sarah and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 15 in 1831.
