Ellen Stocks

Ellen was born in 1844 in Almondbury.¹   Ellen's father was Charles Stocks and her mother was Hannah (Ann) Boothroyd.  Her paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Martha Stocks. She had four brothers and a sister, named George, Thomas, Henry, William and Martha.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
