Ann was born in 1833 in Lockwood.¹

Ann's father was Joseph Stocks and her mother was Rachel Beaumont. She had a brother and four sisters, named Josiah, Hannah, Sarah, Betty and Emma.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 17 in July 1850 in Crosland Moor.  She was buried on July 28th, 1850 in Milnsbridge.²
