Ann was born in 1818 in Stapeley and her baptism took place on August 2nd, 1818 in Wybunbury.1  Ann's father was Abraham Steele and her mother was Maria (Mary) Brereton. She had three brothers named John, James and Abraham.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 60 in January 1878 in Shavington.  She was buried on January 13th, 1878 in Wybunbury.2
