Margery was born in 1668 in Nantwich and her baptism took place there on October 4th, 1668.1  Margery's father was Dudley Sandford and her mother was Mary (Maria) Hassall.  Her paternal grandparents were William Sandford and Elizabeth Bryne; her maternal grandparents were John Hassall and <female> Hassall. She had a brother and three sisters, named Dudley, Jane, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the five children.
