Thomas' father was Robert Robinson and his mother was Hannah Wood.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Wood and Rebeccah Sykes. He had a sister named Rebecca.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-sisters named Betty and Matilda.  He died at 7 months old in August 1823 in Golcar.  He was buried on August 26th, 1823 in Longwood.³
