Henry's father was Robert Robinson and his mother was Amelia (Emma) Maplestone. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 17 on March 19th, 1844 in Huddersfield.³
