John Pighels

John was born in 1747 in Keighley and his baptism took place there on September 16th, 1747.¹   John's father was Thomas Pighels and his mother was Hannah (Ann) Wright. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Michael, Joseph, Eunice and Rachel.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
