Mary Elizabeth Pickles

Mary was born in 1891 in Northumberland.¹   Mary's father was Thomas Osbourn Pickles and her mother was Isabella Wood.  Her paternal grandparents were William Pickles and Ann. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, Thomas, Samuel, Jane , Hannah and Edith.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
