John William Pickles

John was born in 1882.  John's father was Thomas Osbourn Pickles and his mother was Isabella Wood.  His paternal grandparents were William Pickles and Ann. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, Jane , Hannah, Edith and Mary.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
