Francis Henry Morgan

Francis was born in December 1851 in New Brighton and his baptism took place on January 7th, 1852 at St. Peter (Liverpool).^1 2

  1861 census has birth as Westhaston, Shropshire, England, but registered in the Wirral.  This seems more likely to be correct.

Francis' father was Samuel Morgan and his mother was Martha Holt.  His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Holt and Ann Green. He had a brother and two sisters, named (Samuel), Charlotte and Martha.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 73 in June 1925 in West Derby.³

‌Francis and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on September 9th, 1874 at St. Mary (Birkenhead).³
