Martha Holt

Martha was born on November 10th, 1823 in Shrewsbury and her baptism took place on December 14th, 1823 in Shawbury.¹²

Martha's father was Benjamin Holt and her mother was Ann Green. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Ann, Elizabeth, Jane, Mary, Sarah, Hannah and Catherine. She was the seventh oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 62 in December 1885 in Birkenhead.³
