William was born on July 5th, 1839 in Ewloe and his baptism took place on July 21st, 1839 in Hawarden.1  William's father was Peter Millington and his mother was Catherine Ellison.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Millington and Mary Boyle. He had three brothers named Peter, John and James.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 45 on December 9th, 1884.
