Thomas' father was Thomas Millington and his mother was Sarah Cromwell. His paternal grandparents were John Millington and Margaret Youde. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, Richard, Thomas, Martha and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 8 in February 1794 in Hawarden. His burial was on February 25th, 1794 in Hawarden.¹
