Thomas' father was John Millington and his mother was Margaret Youde. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Mary, Mary, Margaret, Rachel, Elizabeth and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 63 in July 1820 in Hope. His burial was on July 25th, 1820 in Hawarden.¹²
