Hannah's father was William Millington and her mother was Sarah Youd.  Her paternal grandparents were John Millington and Mary Gibbons. She had six brothers and a sister, named John, George, Thomas, Jesse, Alfred, John and Sarah.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
