William Mather

William was born in 1857 in Bolton.¹

He had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, John, Alice, Sarah, Ann, Ellen, Ellen, Mary, Jane and Betsy. He was adopted by William Mather & Esther Dewhurst. William is no longer alive.

General Notes
- In 1861, William (4) was with parents William and Esther and family. However, he cant be their son as they already had as William (died 1859) and there is no birth registered for William son of MATHER+DEWHURST. He appears to be an illegitimate child, possibly a grandson.
