Richard Mather

Richard was born in 1741 in Manchester and his baptism took place on March 1st, 1741 in Cross Street (Presbyterian).¹

Richard's father was Richard Mather and his mother was Susanna (Susan) Smith. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Mather and Ales (Alice) Rothwell. He had two brothers named Abraham and Abraham. He was the oldest of the three children.
