Peter Mather

Peter was born in 1684 in Kearsley and his baptism took place on August 13th, 1684 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Peter's father was John Mather and his mother was Ann. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Mordicai, Margarett and Margaret. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 1 in 1685 in Turton. He was buried on December 26th, 1685 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
