In 1871, Moses was 7, living with his grandparents Simon and Alice Radcliffe (53 & 47).
In 1881, Moses Radcliffe (18), Son (probably of Catherine Radcliffe, unmarried, 36) was a Coal Miner at 1 Lee Fold, Westhoughton. Simon and Alice Radcliffe (63 & 57) were head of household.
In 1891, Moses, a Coal Miner, and Ann (27 & 26) were at 43 Manchester Road, Westhoughton with James, Mary E and Joseph (4, 2 & 2mo)
Moses became an indurance agent in later life. He and wife Ann both died in Blackpool.
Moses names one of his sons William Adamson Mather, so confirming this civil marriage to Ann Adamson in 1885 (when he was 22).
