Mary Alice Mather

Mary was born in 1878 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on March 17th, 1878 at All Saints, Little Bolton.¹

Mary's father was John Mather and her mother was Isabella Barrow. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Mary Ramsden. She had three brothers and a sister, named James, William, William and Annie. She was the third oldest of the five children.
