Mary Mather

Mary was born about 1821 in Preston.

- Mary was 20 in 1841
  
  There is no birth or baprism record for her. She was probably born in Preeston like her brothers, before the family moved back to Manchester.

Mary's father was Luke Mather and her mother was Sarah. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Platt. She had four brothers named Jacob, Luke, Thomas and Joseph. She was the youngest of the five children.
