No baprism for Maria in Bolton, but baptism for Mary 10 May 1829 at St Peter's is the only one within 2 years of 1830, and she is daughter of Thomas and Margaret Tildsley.

General Notes
Who was Maria, assumed daughter of Thomas who she was with in 1841. She married at Christ Church, Bolton, just a year or two after Samuel and William, sons of John Mather (1823-1892) but no other indication the family is related.
"Mariah" daughter of James & Rachel Mather of Entwistle (by Edgworth), born 17 Sep 1829, baptised 27 Sep 1829 is not her. This Maria, also aged 11, was at Sunnyside farm, Edgworth with her parents in 1841.
Maria and James were married in a religious ceremony in December 1850 at Christ Church, Egerton (Bolton).3 They had four sons and five daughters, named John, William, James, Samuel, Ellen, Christiana, Harriet, Susannah and Elizabeth. There are no more children.
