Margareta was born in 1665 in Middle Hulton and her baptism took place on June 11th, 1665 at St. Mary (Deane).1  Margareta's father was Johannis (John) Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Mather. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Jacob, Samuel, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Margareta and Mary.  She died at the age of 7 in January 1672 in Westhoughton.  She was buried on January 6th, 1672 at St. Mary (Deane).1
