Margaret Mather

Margaret was born in October 1777 in Worsley and her baptism took place on October 12th, 1777 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).¹

  Margaret, daughter of W'm Mather of Worsley, weaver and Mary his wife.

Margaret's father was William Mather and her mother was Mary Mollinaux. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Mary, Lydia and Hannah.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 73 in 1850 in Pendleton.  She was buried on April 24th, 1850 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).¹
