John Mather

  John son of W'm Mather of Worsley Flatman and Mary his wife

John's father was William Mather and his mother was Mary Mollinaux. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Margaret, Lydia and Hannah.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 26 in December 1799 in Worsley.  He was buried on December 8th, 1799 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).¹
