Margaret Mather

Margaret was born in July 1791 in Turton and her baptism took place on July 3rd, 1791 at Walmsley Presbyterian conducted by minister Thomas Davies.¹

  Solomon and Matty's daughter Betty was baptised together (i.e same place and date).
  
  There is another Bolton baptism of Margt Dau of Betty 4 Aug 1791. This could be another person.

Margaret's father was James Mather and her mother was Betty Knowles. She had three brothers, and also a sibling of unknown gender named John, James, Isaac and <unknown>. She was the youngest of the five known children. She died about 1860.
