William Holden Mather

William was born in 1811 in Sharples and his baptism took place on March 17th, 1811 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Mary. He was adopted by John Marsh & Margaret Mather. William is no longer alive.

General Notes
- William Holden (or Holding) was the baptised son of Margaret Mather of Sharples, so should have been named William Mather.
  
  This is not the William that married Mary Crook(?), as they were both aged 37 in 1851
