Louisa was born on August 1st, 1909 in Pendleton and her baptism took place on August 18th, 1909 at St. Ambrose (Pendleton).1  Louisa's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Ann Johnson. She had two brothers named James and Edmund.  She was the youngest of the three children.
