John Mather

John was born in 1830 in Warrington.¹   John's father was Jonathan Mather and his mother was Ann Wright. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Jonathan, Henry, George, Mary, Fanny and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the eight children.
