James Jesse Mather

James was born in 1866 in Prestwich.¹

James' father was Nathan Mather and his mother was Betty Twist. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Mather and Hannah Emmerson. He had a brother and two sisters, named George, Ada and Annie. He was the youngest of the four children.
