James Mather

James was born in 1580 in Radcliffe and his baptism took place there on June 5th, 1589.¹

James' father was Gabriell Mather and his mother was Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Mather and <unknown>. He had four brothers and a sister, named Raphell, Zacherie, Abraham, Gabriell and Dorothie. He was the oldest of the six children.
