Emma Mather

Emma was born on February 23rd, 1848 in Salford and her baptism took place on March 15th, 1848 at Manchester Cathedral.¹²

Emma's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Alice Tweedy. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Sarah (Sally) Stewart. She had two brothers named James and Richard. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 82 on February 4th, 1931 in Middleton.³
