Ellis Mather

Ellis was born in 1847. Ellis' father was Charles Mather and his mother was Ellen Redford. His paternal grandparents were Ellis Mather and Ann Thornley. He had three sisters named Sarah, Mary and Ellen. He was the youngest of the four children.

- 8cM DNA connect via Ellis son of Charles between Marjorie Mather Young and Katharine Wood. Ellis' daughter Ellen married George Wood. This is probably NOT a Mather connection.
