Catherine was born in October 1858 in Little Bolton.1  Catherine's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Mary Heyes. She had three brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Samuel, Sarah, Jane and Alice.  Samuel and Catherine were twins.  She died on October 5th, 1858 in Little Bolton.  She was buried on October 16th, 1858 at Tonge Cemetery.2 3
