Birth Notes

Alice's father was Sir William Mather and her mother was Emma Jane Watson. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Amelia Tideswell. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Colin, Grace, William, Norman, Loris, Florence, Dorothy and Marjorie. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
